Antonio "The Spartan" Caruso began his career in 2013 and after winning his first 3 fights, he decided to pursue boxing where he got an early opportunity to fight on the under card of Mundine-Green 2 at Adelaide Oval. Despite having success he decided to return to his true passion and what he considers to be the more difficult of the disciplines and returned to MMA in 2016.

Currently undefeated riding a 7 fight win streak with his latest being a first round submission victory over Tristan Murphy at Diamondback Fighting Championship 8.

Antonio is unusual for a local fighter as he spends a lot of time travelling between gyms especially in the lead up to a fight. Always a fan favourite and known for putting on a great show.
